MidCentral
Palmerston North Hospital is the main public hospital in the Palmerston North / Manawatu District. The ICU has six beds and admits close to 500 patients a year. Most patients stay in the unit no more than 2 days but some sicker patients will have much longer stays.

The Horizons Regional Council runs Connect buses, for passenger transport. Purchase a Bee card to travel on buses and download a bus timetable.
InterCity buses also travel daily to Palmerston North.
Taxis and Ubers also operate in Palmerston North and rental vehicles are available.
